Meeting called to order President Jack Donovan at 7:10pm. There were 23 members in attendance.
Minutes from the October’s meeting were approved as sent.
Treasures Report was read by Pete Burgess and approved as read
Speaker for tonight’s meeting was Frank Lenik PLS who gave a presentation on the State required EDM Calibration Base Line Data forms and the correct way to fill them out. Hand out material can be found on the SAWJ.org website.
Directors Report – Bob Lee presented the directors report with input from Chip Adamson N.J.S.P.L.S. President 2008. Topic items that were discussed at the NJSPLS meeting included; pushing the filling of the Minor Sub-divisions, problem’s with the State approving pdh’s (which is now taking up to 6 months in advance), various Bills that NJSPLS is tracking (additional info can be found on the NJSPLS website), Bill McGrath complaint letter sent to the board regarding NJDEP allowing/approving plans prepared by non licensed individuals to submit plans with survey data
New Business: In regards to the recent death of SAWJ member Dick Humphries, Jack Donovan discussed the possibility of obtaining a Bernstein burial monument called “the Final Point”. Bob Lee to obtain additional information.
Chip Adamson commented that NJSPLS pays for the final point.
Rick Sapio informed the meeting that Moe Chew had undergone heart bypass surgery yesterday is reported to be ok.
Jack Donovan called for a definition for monies collected by the “Duck Fund” and when and how such monies should be spent. Several members commented with their opinion with suggestions to be emailed to Jack and be brought up at the following meeting.

The 50/50 was won by Jim Rich who donated proceeds to the Duck Fund.
